Hello, thank you for taking the time to get to know us, what we have done, where we have been and where we are going. We hope our history and testimony will help you see us in a positive light and we can all relate in the likeness and willingness of God's love.

 

We are a diverse family with a deep love and spiritual understanding of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the importance of maintaining a personal relationship, acknowledgement, and interest in our daily lives of the Triune Godhead and as such were led through the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God to move and function in HIS divine plan to teach the Word of God. In obedience to the divine calling of The Great Commission [Matthew 28:18-20] “to go and make disciples of all nations,” we were called from living in Powder Springs, GA to move and grow roots in Rensselaer, NY (East Greenbush County) and continue HIS purposes.

Prior to our living in Powder Springs, GA we were called to go to Cali, Colombia South America to minister and do the work of the Lord. Please understand we had no family and didn’t really know anyone in Cali, Colombia. A friend who we were pastors to in Queens NY told us a relative had a farm in the mountains of Felidia. We spoke and rented out the more than 100 yr old house temporarily while we got there and got to know the area. So, in 2015 we packed up the family (4 kids, mom and dad, grandad with early stages of Alzheimer's dementia ) with our dog Tinky and flew to the mountains of Felidia, Colombia and quickly made our way to Palmira, Colombia and stayed living there while ministering in over 5-8 different high-risk neighborhoods in the areas of Candelaria and Villa Gorgona in Valle del Cauca, Colombia. We met some awesome and God loving folks that helped us establish Fundamor de Dios which was finalized legally to Fundacion RENOFE (Restoring Faith in Families and Orphans) which is still functioning today almost 7 yrs later. While there we over saw up to 175 – 250 children and some adults on a weekly basis providing them with the word of God and a meal, homework assistance and afterschool guidance. We even helped illiterate folks to learn to read and write. We held free health and legal Bazaars. Other free events such as Dental Cleanings, Eye Exams, Hair Spas for girls and young ladies, Children’s Day and Presents on Christmas Day. We also did spiritual retreats, funded education for primary and continuing education for adults, Vacation Bible School various times throughout the year. We also had a Bible and Music Institute with folks who volunteered their time to our Foundation. We held and hold Women's, Men's and Couples retreats. We also held Workshops teaching trades to women in the high-risk communities. All this was possible by faith and donations from other church organizations from the USA. We saw many miracles in the lives of the children and later the parents came and were involved with transforming their lives and their families too. We spent 3 ½ years there and the Lord found it necessary for us to come back to the states and after prayer and fasting we were able to pray over and anoint Pastors Luz Maria Diaz Lozano and her husband Pastor Hernando Hurtado Garcia to take over and care of the ministry. We are always given updates and hear of our lovely “extended church family” in Colombia as well as still send monetary and other donations out to them.
